The Red Hat Enterprise System Monitoring and Performance Tuning Expertise Exam is a performance-based test of the skills covered in RH442 Red Hat Enterprise System Monitoring and Performance Tuning.

Expertise exams vary in length from 2 to 8 hours, and can only be taken by a current Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE). Official notification of PASS or DID NOT PASS is sent via email within 5 US business days of taking this Expertise exam.

Credential and Certifications:

A Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is eligible to take this exam to earn a Red Hat Certificate of Expertise. A Certificate of Expertise is earned by passing upper-level performance-based exams in specialized areas of system administration.

This Certificate of Expertise is one of five required to earn the designation Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA).

Only RHCEs on a current release may take this exam. All candidates are strongly advised to take RH442 Red Hat Enterprise System Monitoring and Performance Tuning in advance of attempting this exam, and are further advised to gain practical experience with the skills covered in that class prior to attempting the exam.
