For centuries the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage has been used as a powerful tool for maintaining a healthy way of life. 

The Kahunas were highly respected as keepers of the esoteric knowledge of life. 

The traditional Lomi Lomi massage healers connected with “spirit” and their touch communicated deep to the bones of the receiver.  The use of prayer (Pule), breathe, (HA) energy (Mana) and intention in their massage work contributed to vibrant and healthy Hawaiian communities.

Lomi Lomi, a respected tradition in itself, was passed down from generation to generation; with each group having it’s own style and merit.  Hawaiian Massage is the practical hands-on expression of this enriching, rejuvenating and compassionate massage system.

Devotedly passed down from the ancients to the present day, Hawaiian Massage is overflowing with the spirit and grace of Aloha, the Hawaiian word for love. Hawaiian Massage was developed in an era when life was abundant with generosity, goodwill and loving kindness. These attitudes, universal to all humanity, continue to be expressed in the practice of Hawaiian Massage.

Hawaiian Massage is a synergy of Hawaiian Lomilomi massage with Kahuna bodywork. By intensifying the glorious energy of Aloha the healing possibilities of Hawaiian Massage are immense.

The practitioner engages their whole being when performing Hawaiian Massage; this includes heart, mind, soul as well as body.  Working with oils the practitioner uses hands, forearms and body weight. 

Practitioners work intuitively with clients using their hands, elbows, and forearms to apply long, gliding strokes, rhythmic movements, and pressure. This technique is very nurturing; practitioners acknowledge that love and a pure heart is important to the process, and sometimes the session will begin with a chant or prayer. 

While Lomi Lomi is a massage it is also about reconnecting with spirit and it this combination that gives it such powerful potential for healing of each individual client. While it may be referred to as a spiritual massage the technique also has many practical and specific benefits. True Lomi Lomi also works on an emotional level and after a session the receiver often experiences freedom from worry, anxiety, fear and other negative thought patterns. The true purpose of Lomi Lomi is to bring balance and a sense of well being of body, mind and spirit.

Bodd i Hawaii og siden har Polynesisk røtter, jeg lærte fra kahuna mi og den hawaiiansk kongelige familie.

Varighet

2-3 dager for det introduksjon, men eleven må lære å være ETT i sjelen, sinn, følelse gjennom "cleansing" og meditasjon. Det er et livstil, så anbefales ukentlig læring når mulig. Lærer og eleven må være knyttet i sjelen også og den tas tid. Tenk på meg som din mentor.
