Enterprise Integration with Spring is a 4-day training course led by SpringSource engineers covering today\'s most important topics and technologies related to enterprise application integration. This hands-on training teaches how to apply Spring to solve integration problems that face server-side developers.
Completion of this course entitles each student to waive the registration fee for the SpringSource Certified Enterprise Integration Specialist Examination and it is also the ideal preparation for the exam.
Students will learn how to:
- Create concurrent applications and schedule tasks using Spring
- Use Serialization and Remoting to call remote applications
- Understand XML
- Create SOAP and REST Web services
- Secure Web services
- Use JMS for asynchronous communication
- Understand and use distributed transactions
- Use Spring Batch for Enterprise Integration based on batch processing
- Use Spring Integration for Pipes-and-Filters integration
- Understand Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and how they apply to Spring based applications
Format
This course is hands-on, with 60% devoted to real-world labs, and 40% devoted to instructor-led discussion. Our labs are designed to engage and challenge students to think creatively, and are not copy-and-paste exercises.

- Understanding Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Forkunnskaper
Proficient with the Java language and core Java SE APIs, and have a basic understanding of foundational Java EE technologies such as Servlets, JNDI and JTA. Students should also be familiar with the basics of Spring for dependency injection, transaction management, AOP and abstractions such as JdbcTemplate. It is recommended that students new to Spring first attend the Core Spring training.
