What Are We?

OIBS is an English-speaking international Bible School on the outskirts of Oslo, Norway. We have about 95 students from 19 nations for 2008-2009 and we are expecting even more this coming 2008-2009.We have had more than 200 applications but we are not able to host more than 95 students. The school has experienced a record high number of applications and its growth is exceptional. IOBS is owned by the church named Regnbuen Christian Fellowship which also operates Regnbuen Christian School (1-10), and Regnbuen Kindergarten.

Oslo International Bible School was founded by pastor/principal Finn Henrik Larsen in 1993 and was first called Romerike Bible Training Center. The last years the school has grown to be an all-English speaking international school. The Bible school is an government accredited Bible school, registered in the Brønnøysund Register Centre, a government body under the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry with org. no. 976 715 438.

Oslo International Bible School is owned and operated by the church Regnbuen Christian Fellowship. Regnbuen Christian Fellowship is an independent church, part of the worldwide Pentecostal movement. The school accepts students from all denominational backgrounds.

Regnbuen Christian Fellowship also runs a Regnbuen Christian School, a private Christian school grades 1-10, Regnbuen Kindergarten, "Regnbuen is government certification and is also planning to start an upper secondary school in future."
