Youth from all over the world interested in science can now spend part of their summer holidays doing something one definitely cannot do in school.
Participants have daily lectures in space-related topics, as well as group work where their skills and knowledge are put into practice. This allow the participants to actively use the unique resources available at Andøya Space Center.
At the end of the camp, European Space Camp has its absolute climax which is to launch a sounding rocket with instruments that the participants have assembled and prepared beforehand.
There is a high professional level throughout the entire camp, however there will also be events like mountain hiking and midnight bathing, which make Space Camp a very social event.
European Space Camp is organised by both the European Space Camp team and Andøya Space Education. Other important partners are the Norwegian Space Agency and the European Space Agency.
