The Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT) course trains personnel to perform in-water rescues in swiftwater and flood environments as part of a specialist search and rescue team.

This course equips participants with the skills necessary for effective rescue operations in swiftwater and flood environments. This intensive training covers swiftwater swimming, in-water and on-water rescues, and the use of tethered boat operations. Participants will gain hands-on experience and develop the confidence to perform rescues in challenging and dynamic water conditions, ensuring they are prepared for real-world emergency situations. The course complies with the DEFRA Water & Flood Rescue Technician training module.

  • Minimum age 18
