The Fire Protection Act regulations and HSE legislation requires that both owners and users of buildings must have sufficient knowledge of fire safety. The course is adapted to the requirements of the new regulations applicable from 01.01.16 and is well suited for “Fire Wardens”, Fire Managers, Floor Managers or others in similar roles related to HSE. There is no requirement for prior knowledge to participate.
The course is adapted to the requirements of Norwegian law and focuses on developing attitudes, skills and knowledge within fire and injury prevention measures.

- Organizational and Technical Fire Protection Measures
- Active and Passive Fire Protection Measures
- Introduction to Extinguishing Media
- Fire Theory
The course can be viewed on a PC, smartphone or tablet as long as the device is connected to the internet.
This course is built up into modules with film, text and pictures. After completing the course there is a final test that one must pass in order to be issued the course certificate. It is possible to re-take the test several times if you do not pass on your first attempt.
