The Norwegian authorities require employers to ensure that all employees have received documented training in the operation of all work equipment that is considered dangerous, or that requires special care when used. "Regulations on the execution of work" § 10-2 Requirements for documented safety training when using work equipment.
The course provides a basic introduction to the safe use of dangerous small tools such as angle grinders, miter saws, bolt guns and nail guns.
This course provides theoretical training in accordance with the requirements of the regulations. The employer must subsequently document practical training to meet the regulations' requirements for both theoretical and practical training. Course certificates for the theoretical part are issued to the participants after the theory course has been completed.

- Tools properties and behavior of tools
- Appropriate area of use
- Maintenance
- Safe use of tools and safety rules
- Our attitudes and motivation
- Laws and regulations
The course can be completed on PC, smartphone and tablet as long as you have access to the internet. It is structured in modules with film, text and images. After completing the course, you must pass a test in order to be issued a course certificate.
Note that in addition to the theoretical training, practical training must also be documented.
