The module sets out to identify and critically explore a range of current issues and challenges relevant to organizational change. Furthermore, it will introduce students to a variety of theories, concepts and models which may all be of use in specific contexts.
Learning outcomes Knowledge
Based on a foundation of academic theories, concepts and models, case studies and practitioner experience we aim to hone a mental capacity and a critical capability to explore and master a range of change enabling approaches which may all be appropriate in a given situation.
The module will include: - A clear link to leadership and followership; - Contemporary change leadership and management issues and concepts (e.g. ethics, trust and participation); - Change enabling organizational structures, cultures and processes; - Barriers and resistance to change/Change readiness; - Organizational power and politics
TimetableThe course is held over 3 gatherings of 2 days each. Dates to be annouced later. Lecturing hours, 08:30 - 16:00 hrs. each day.

To be written in first person and drawing upon relevant literature.
Required task(s) which must be passed:
We recommend the students to attend a minimum of 75% of taught classes (Lectures/tutorials/seminars). We will also recommend the students to come prepared (having read identified readings – journal articles etc.) and that the students must contribute to presentations, seminars, group work etc.
Please note that if only Norwegian speaking students, the course will be held in Norwegian..
