Kurset ser også på det konseptuelle bak hva vi i dag anser som sky, samt at vi går nærmere inn på hva som er mulig gjennom skytjenester, med hovedfokus på Azure. Læremål: Etter å ha gjennomført emnet skal studenten ha følgende læringsutbytte: KUNNSKAPER Studenten har: - Kunnskap om noen av de ulike tjenestene som blir mest brukt i Azure, deriblant Virtuelle maskiner, SQL-databaser og flere. - Kunnskap om og skal kunne forklare prinsippene Privat, Public og Hybrid Cloud. - Kunnskap om SaaS PaaS, IaaS og eksempler på disse. - Kunnskap om fleksibilitet, muligheter og begrensninger i skytjenester. - Noe kunnskap om hvilke sikkerhetsmessige og politiske utfordringer sky-tjenester kan medføre.
