What will the course cover
The course will help you understand your organisation’s vision, values and strategy then turn this into goals, objectives and actions for you and your team.
The LMDP will be a combination of 3.5 hour interactive video workshops over Zoom and 121 coaching/mentoring support.
The workshops will give you an opportunity to explore what the role of a leader and manager is and how they support their organisation’s strategy, the teams they work in and the individuals they work with.
These workshops will give you practical and useful advice that can be taken back to the workplace and used immediately. The 10 workshops are designed to explore current best practice in leadership and management and how you can apply this in your organisation.
You will receive handouts and a toolkit for the modules, which can be read and used on your return to work. After the workshops I will send further reading and video links, all of which are worth reading/looking at and exploring.

Coaching/mentoring
After workshops 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 you will be supported with a coaching/mentoring session, this is to individually focus on your development as a leader and manager. It will look at the previous workshops and explore areas that are important/relevant to you.
It will also be a traditional coaching/mentoring session, where you can discuss areas of importance which are relevant to your day to day role as a leader and manager. One of the key areas we will be focusing on is: ‘What are the key actions you will be taking?’ I often think - actions that help me develop, the people I lead/manage develop and the organisation improve.

Varighet

The workshops will last 3.5 hours and include breaks for tea and coffee. You will receive an email inviting you to each Zoom workshop and coaching/mentoring meeting, please add these to your calendar using the ‘Add to calendar’ link in the email (note they will not be added automatically to Outlook).
