Vienna School of Negotiation
In global markets, complex political situations and changing organizations, negotiation skills - the ability to create value through cooperation and to deal with differences or conflict constructively - are in critical.
The Vienna School of Negotiation, formerly Vienna Partners (2001), was founded by Sonja Rauschütz and Dr. Harald Klien in 2007. The idea originated in the late nineties at Harvard Law School, where Mrs. Rauschütz served, for over 3 years, as faculty and the right hand to Prof. Roger Fisher, bestselling author of “Getting to Yes” and mastermind of “win-win”.
Returning to Europe, Mrs. Rauschütz, integrated her Central European background, the Harvard toolset and other Best Practice methodologies with her negotiator’s practice while continuing the academic exchange.
The Vienna School strives to professionalize negotiations by offering capacity building programs to practitioners and negotiation experts as well as hands-on (negotiation) facilitation and negotiation management consulting. The Vienna School serves as a meeting point in Europe, supports professional negotiators interested in expanding knowledge and practice in dialogue with distinguished international practitioners and experts.
The services offered are requested by executives, managers, political decision makers, entrepreneurs and other professional negotiators (such as sales and purchasing representatives, lawyers, personnel-, key account- and project managers, consultants, mediators). Participants of capacity building programs enhance their learning by practicing the methodologies on our state-of-the-art SaaS platform, called Negovation. The negotiation facilitation service is increasingly including Negovation as an online support. All senior members of the Vienna School Faculty are internationally experienced practitioners and affiliated with renowned universities around the world.
