I samarbeid med KranTeknisk Forening som også er faglig ansvarlig.   Kurset gjennomføres som interaktivt nettkurs på 1 dag (kl. 8.30-16.30).   Få kunnskap til å lede og veilede personell som er involvert i løfteoperasjoner i bygg og anlegg. Kurset gir deg kunnskap og metoder for å vite at løfteoperasjoner blir forskriftsmessig utført.    Etter endt kurs vil du: kjenne til hvilke lover, forskrifter og standarder som gjelder vedr. bruk av kraner og løfteutstyr kunne redegjøre for ulike typer ulykker som kan inntre ved feil bruk av kraner, ansvarsforhold, årsakssammenheng og hvordan disse kan forebygges. utøve overordnet operasjonell ledelse av løfteoperasjoner. kjenne til hvordan en sikrer helhetlig planlegging av løfteoperasjoner i ulike områder og vurdere sikkerheten  i forbindelse med samtidige operasjoner. kunne redegjøre for SJA – Sikker Jobb Analyse, sikkerhetsbestemmelser for føring av kran, og hvilke forholdsregler som må tas for at kranfører skal kunne verne seg selv og annet personell mot ulykker. kunne redegjøre for aktuelle forskrifter og retningslinjer for personbefordring. kjenne til vurdering av enkle løfteinnretninger og oppbevaring av løst løfteutstyr. kjenne til kompetansekrav ved bruk av ulike type løfteutstyr. kunne veilede og gi opplæring til annet personell som skal ha rollen som operasjonelt ansvarlige. Course is divided in four phases: Phase one is a rapid introduction to - and an overview of basis issues in OM. This will establish a common foundation for main topics. Phase two is within following main topics as example: - Theory of Constraints - Lean Management - Supply Chain/ Value Chain- Modeling tools for workflows Main topics may change from semester to semester. This part will consists of lectures and interactive Group work involving presentation of selected topics. The work is combined with essays in Phase three. Phase three involves CASE-work in groups where the groups are expected to use suitable methods in analysis of real organizations and companies in assignments provided. Contacts to suitable companies/organizations will be done based on the needs. The topics for analysis and essays can be selected based on specific interests/benefits to the company where the students are employed. Phase four is final delivery of 3 essays and exam. Exam is oral based on questions from the course made available 3-4 weeks before exam. Topics are from part 1-3. Student draws 3-5 questions one by one, answer the questions, and get additional questions within or related to the same topic. Even if many cases and issues will come from industry, the methods and focus in this course are just as applicable for service industry, shops, health sector, tourism etc. [-]

Industrial technology and knowledge based services, after sales services and product support, service delivery strategies, service delivery performance management system, planning, management and execution of the support service in an integrated and holistic perspective, logistics and supply chain management, technology and service innovation processes, entrepreneurship, outsourcing and globalization, etc. Selected topics related to operations and maintenance will be studied. Furthermore innovation and patenting processes will be discussed as well as the path from idea through entrepreneurship and a successful business. The course will have seminar form where the students are given the chance to present and discuss problems related to content in selected literature and papers. The topics covered may vary some from year to year.   The course includes development and preparation, presentation and defense of written report containing problem answers, critic of a different student report, as well as participation in discussion during seminars.
