Språkreiser og språkkurs

På høsten er fokuset å forberede oss til studiereisen. Vi lærer om landene og kulturene vi skal til, prøver å få de spanske frasene til å sitte, og er en del ute i naturen.   I januar reiser vi på en seks ukers studietur spekket med inntrykk og opplevelser. De første ukene tilbringer vi blant vulkaner og indianere i Guatemala. Her går dere på språkskole, møter organisasjoner som arbeider for urbefolkningens rettigheter, og deltar på aktiviteter som bestiging av vulkaner, kajakkpadling, ridning og vandreturer.   I El Salvador bor vi hjemme hos lokale bønder og deltar i dagliglivet deres. Her får dere testet ut spansken, arbeidet på maisåkeren, lært om borgerkrigen, utforsket salvadoransk natur og knyttet nye vennskap.   Før vi i februar sette nesa mot vinterlige Valdres avslutter vi med noen dager i bølgene på en stillehavsøy.   Hjemme i Norge bearbeider vi inntrykk gjennom film, artikler og foredrag. Vi holder seminar for resten av skolen, og reiser på en foredragsturné.   I løpet av året - både i Valdres og i Latin-Amerika - blir det en del aktiviteter og opplevelser i naturen. Noe sammen med resten av skolen, men også som klasse. It offers the basics in the Norwegian language. You will get a course certificate, which is valid for permanent residence and citizenship applications in Norway.
