I Norge brukes Open BIM i stor grad. Dette gjør at det kan være mange forskjellige BIM- og modelleringsprogram i et og samme prosjekt. Et eksempel er når arkitekten bruker ArchiCAD. Revit kan ikke lese ArchiCAD-formatet. For å utveksle modell og informasjon er det derfor mest naturlig å benytte IFC. I dette online-kurset går vi igjennom hvordan vi starter opp et nytt Revit-prosjekt basert på en IFC-fil fra arkitekten. Vi ser på hvordan vi plasserer underlagsfilene, får inn korrekte felleskoordinater fra arkitekten samt spaces med rominformasjon. Vi gjennomgår også hvordan vi oppretter etasjer, akser, views og sheets slik at du får det beste mulige utgangspunktet for ditt Revit-prosjekt.   På dette 2 timers online-kurset  (klasseromskurs på nett) vil du blant annet lære å: få inn korrekte felleskoordinater fra arkitekten starte opp et nytt Revit-prosjekt basert på en IFC-fil opprette etasjer, akser, views og sheets   Slik gjennomføres onlinekurs: Kurset blir holdt via Go to Training – som lastes ned før kursstart.
