The DevOps Foundation course provides a baseline understanding of key DevOps terminology to ensure everyone is talking the same language and highlights the benefits of DevOps to support organizational success. The course includes the latest thinking, principles and practices from the DevOps community including real-world case studies from high performing organizations including ING Bank, Ticketmaster, Capital One, Alaska Air, Target, Fannie Mae, Societe Generale, and Disney that engage and inspire learners, leveraging multimedia and interactive exercises that bring the learning experience to life, including the Three Ways as highlighted in the Phoenix Project by Gene Kim and the latest from the State of DevOps and DevOps Institute Upskilling  reports. Learners will gain an understanding of DevOps, the cultural and professional movement that stresses communication, collaboration, integration, and automation to improve the flow of work between software developers and IT operations professionals. The course is designed for a broad audience, enabling those on the business side to obtain an understanding of microservices and containers. Those on the technical side will obtain an understanding as to the business value of DevOps to reduce cost (15-25% overall IT cost reduction) with increased quality (50-70% reduction in change failure rate) and agility (up to 90% reduction in provision and deployment time) to support business objectives in support of digital transformation initiatives. How to have a normal website and also let it appear as a traditional application or native mobile application? Want to write apps that are powered by Web technologies and delivered with Web infrastructure? Welcome to Progressive Web Apps. PWAs are secure and installable, can run offline and can display system notifications even when the app is not running. This course will teach all the techniques to create, test and deploy your PWA. Writing modern web application also involves knowledge of the latest JavaScript, so this course also teaches JavaScript from the basics up until the latest APIs and proposals for future additions. Debugging and writing (unit) tests for JavaScript is also covered. Options to measure and improve the performance of scripts, as well as asynchronous loading will be discussed. Safe: Only https (or localhost for development). Progressive: Use the above technologies if they are available, but the page (app) will work if the device’s browser is less capable. Faglig innhold: Bruk av Linux kommandoskall, installasjon av Linux og bruk av pakkebehandlere, tjenester (Web, databaser, e-post, DNS, DHCP, VPN) og virtualisering, brukeradministrasjon (LDAP, PAM), integrasjon med MSWindows, nettverk (IP-ruting, brannmur, NAT, VLAN, trådløse nett og nettverksadministrasjon) backup, sikkerhet, skallprogrammering, programutviklingsmiljø. Læremål: Etter å ha gjennomført emnet skal studenten ha følgende læringsutbytte: KUNNSKAPER Studenten kan: - Redegjøre for de mest brukte Linux-distribusjonene, vite hvilke som er mest brukt som tjenere - Bruke Linux kommandogrensesnitt til vanlig fil- og mappebehandling, men også til drift av egen Linux arbeidsstasjon. - Forklare oppbygging av de mest brukte nettverkskonfigurasjonene inkludert tjenere, rutere og sikkerhetsaspekter. - Forklare hvordan oppsett av filtjenere, brukeradministrasjon og autentisering foregår i et nettverk. FERDIGHETER Studenten kan: - installere Linux på egen arbeidsstasjon og på tjenermaskin, samt konfigurere og drifte denne. - installere og konfigurere nettverk bestående av Linux-tjenere og Windows-klienter, samt feilfinning i installasjonen. - lage skriptprogrammer for å overvåke systemet og for gjentagende systemoppgaver - designe et IP-nettverk og begrunne oppbygning, funksjonalitet og sikkerhet i nettverket. - installere og konfigurere tjenerprogramvare for webpublisering, database og nettverksfunksjonalitet. - installere og drifte typiske tjeneroppgaver som epost, dns, dhcp - installere og drifte sikkerhetstiltak som backup og brannmur - lage skriptprogrammer for automatisering av rutinearbeid som lage brukerkontoer, kjøre i gang programmer med kompliserte oppsett, lete frem og behandle filer mm. - installere og konfigurere en webtjener med LAMP-arkitektur. - installere og konfigurere en Linux-basert VPN-løsning. - installere, konfigurere og drifte Linux-baserte rutere og svitsjer. GENERELL KOMPETANSE Studenten kan: - redegjøre for framveksten av Linux og dens historie med basis i UNIX og GNU. - forklare begrepet free software og liste opp kriterier og krav som gjelder for free software. På kurset lærer du Excel fra grunnen av. Det legges vekt på å få inn rutiner på hvordan tekst, tall, formler og funksjoner legges inn på riktig måte. [+]
Kurset kjøres på siste versjon av programmet. Gi oss beskjed dersom du bruker en annen versjon. Excel er et uvurderlig verktøy med stor fleksibilitet. Programmet er nyttig for alle, uansett om man har en tradisjonell “tall-jobb” eller ikke. På kurset lærer du Excel fra grunnen av. Det legges vekt på å få inn rutiner på hvordan tekst, tall, formler og funksjoner legges inn på riktig måte. Formatering av celler og utskrifter er viktige deler av kurset.
