Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

This Green Belt training teach you how to lead successful projects using Six Sigmas  DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve & Control) through practical exercises.

The course includes two 2-hour online meetings, an online course, and three physical course days.

Course instructor Sissel Pedersen Lundeby is IASSC (International Association for Six Sigma Certification) accredited (the only one in Norway as of June 2024):

Sissel has a master in chemical engineering from NTNU, and has more than 20 years of experience within manufacturing and environmental technology. Her Lean Six Sigma training started in 2002, while working at an American company, where she was certified as a Black Belt in 2004. In 2017, she also became Black Belt certified through IASSC.

Sissel has extensive experience using Lean Six Sigma for improvements, process- and product development. She focuses on creating measurable results. The courses use practical, recognizable examples and convey Lean Six Sigma in a simple, understandable way.

Diploma and Certification:

Diploma: To receive a diploma for successful completion, you must have attended all course days.

Certification: To become certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, the following requirements must be met:

• Attendance at all course days.
• Completion of an improvement project within 12 months after the course ends.
• Participation in mandatory coaching throughout the project.

Mandatory coaching ensures that your project is executed in line with best practices and the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Through six 1-hour sessions with a senior consultant, you will receive support and guidance to:

• Select a project that is realistic and value-adding.
• Execute each phase of the project according to best practices.
• Gain confidence and competence in using Lean Six Sigma tools through practical application.

The coaching sessions include:

• 1 hour for project selection.
• 1 hour for review after each DMAIC phase.

Coaching fee: 14,950 NOK (includes six 1-hour sessions and project approval). This is an investment in your success, and our experience shows that participants who receive coaching achieve better results and execute their projects more effectively.

Innlevering

To become certified Green Belt you need to complete an approved improvement project within 12 months after the course end.

The project is considered approved if the project owner has approved the project and Lean Tech has approved the approach, tool usage and documentation.
